Local CDL-A Driver (Amazon Intermodal and Dry Van - 4-Day Week)

**Position Title:** CDL-A Local Truck Driver

**Location:** Chicago, IL

**Schedule:** 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (Full-Time)

**Compensation:** Starting at $30/hour, with performance-based overtime

**Earnings Potential:** $1,200-$1,700/week based on productivity

About the Role:

We're hiring dependable CDL-A drivers to haul Amazon intermodal containers and dry van trailers in the Chicago metro area. This is a home-daily position with a consistent 4-day workweek, giving you steady income and more time off.

Drivers average 4-5 container/trailer moves per shift, with overtime eligibility based on productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Haul Amazon intermodal containers from rail yards and dry van trailers between local facilities

• • Complete 4-5 trailer/container moves per 10-hour shift

• • Follow DOT safety regulations and company procedures

• • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain ELD compliance

• • Communicate with dispatch and operations regarding load status Requirements:

• • Valid Class A CDL and active DOT medical card

• • 1+ year of CDL-A driving experience preferred

• • Intermodal and/or Amazon Relay experience is a plus

• • Safe driving record and strong communication skills

• • No TWIC card required

Pay and Benefits:

• • $30/hour base pay (W-2)

• • Overtime pay (1.5x) after 40 hours/week based on performance (e.g., 6+ moves/day)
