Feintool is an international technology and market leader in the fields of fineblanking, forming, and e-sheet metal stamping for the processing of steel sheets. These technologies are characterized by cost-effectiveness, quality and productivity.\r\n\r\nJob description\r\n· Analyzes specifications, sets up and operates machine tools, fits and assembles parts to fabricate and repair metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, and gages in respect to standard metalworking and die design practices.\r\n\r\n· Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.\r\n\r\n· Responsibilities include initiating recommendations involving continuous improvements if measures to improve methods, equipment/ tooling performance, and quality of work.\r\n\r\n· Confers with assigned tool & die lead-person responsible for their workmanship or shift supervisor, to coordinate activities and advises any change in completion status of assigned work.\r\n\r\n· Responsible for the accuracy and completion of all-time and work records.\r\n\r\n· Responsible on assigned jobs in regards to proper maintenance workmanship and completion required in meeting the production schedule.\r\n\r\n· Has the authority to place any product on “Hold” if poor quality is suspected.\r\n\r\n· Responsible for all assigned organizational and housekeeping activities required to maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient operating tool-room environment related to their shift.\r\n\r\n· Develops specifications from general descriptions, and standard design practices in the generation of replacement die components.\r\n\r\n· Other duties may be assigned.\r\n\r\nHIRING PREREQUISITES\r\n\r\n· One-year certificate from technical school; or two years related experience; or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the Tool & Die field.\r\n\r\n· Language skills to include the ability to read and interpret document such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints and procedure manuals.\r\n\r\n· Reasoning skills to include the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\r\n\r\n· Mathematical skills to include the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
