Job Description
Schedule / hours: Monday - Friday . 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. 80 hours.
This position is responsible for:
Coordinates, administers, and monitors the day-to-day human resource operations for a large Corp.
Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as a lead worker to Corps administrative staff and volunteers representing the human resources discipline.
· Monitors employee time and attendance records; audits available leave balances for employees in accordance with established policies.
· Instructs and counsels supervisors and employees regarding The Salvation Army personnel policies and procedures.
· Prepares and processes all new hire paperwork.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
· Ability to meet attendance requirements.
· Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
· Ability to sort and file documents alphabetically and numerically.
· Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.
· Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like
What we are looking for in you:
· Two-year degree from an accredited college or vocational school in Human Resources or a related field,
· and
· Two years’ experience performing personnel and administrative work,
· or
· any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
