Restaurant Manager

 

Job Summary: 

 

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant, including staffing, hospitality, food and beverage preparation, and financial performance. The manager must have a strong understanding of the restaurant industry and be able to work well under pressure.

 

Key Responsibilities:


 

  • Recruit, train, and manage staff to ensure excellent customer service
  • Develop and implement systems to ensure consistent food and beverage quality
  • Create and manage budgets, including forecasting and financial reporting
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment for staff and customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and local community
  • Ensure compliance with all state and local health and safety regulations
  • Implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales and attract new customers
  • Maintain and build hospitality culture

 

Qualifications:


 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and financial reports
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

 

Education

 

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred.
