Care Giver FT/PT

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a home or community care setting. Your responsibilities will include personal care, companionship, and support with various tasks to promote independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Monitor clients' health by taking vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
• Support clients with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
• Help with mobility assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Ensure the safety and security of clients by adhering to resident rights and maintaining a safe environment.
• Provide memory care support for clients experiencing cognitive challenges.
• Assist with patient monitoring to track progress and report any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home community care or senior care is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to upholding them is essential.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (max.25lbs) as needed for client mobility assistance.
• Familiarity with monitoring vital signs is beneficial.
• Compassionate demeanor with strong communication skills to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to cook nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements.
• Willingness to undergo any necessary training related to memory care or patient monitoring.

Job Type: Part-time/Full-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
