About this job
The Permanente Medical Group, Inc., Northern California, (TPMG) is one of the largest medical groups in the nation with over 10,000 physicians, 21 medical centers, numerous clinics throughout Northern and Central California and an 80-year tradition of providing quality medical care.
TPMG is recruiting for an OB/GYN (MIGS) Physician to join our team in the Central Valley (Stockton, CA).
The Central Valley is nestled between the Cascade, Sierra Nevada and Tehachapi mountains to the east and the California coastal ranges and the San Francisco Bay Area to the West. The region is an outdoor recreational destination with mountain and road biking, kayaking and boarding on numerous lakes and rivers. The nearby California State and National Parks offer great hiking trails, camping, and fishing in pristine lakes and rivers.
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN with MIGS fellowship training for a busy surgical practice within a large and supportive department. Candidates must have completed an AAGL-certified MIGS fellowship.
This position requires the ability to perform full-scope obstetrics in addition to gynecology. MIGS surgeons will conduct gynecologic surgeries, while robotic surgery is currently limited to two existing MIGS fellowship-trained physicians. Our team includes three Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, three Urogynecologists, and two MIGS fellowship-trained Surgeons, all of whom provide exceptional support for practice. The practice features two labor and delivery units and four gynecology operating rooms. The labor and delivery units are located at KFH Hospital and Dignity Hospital (St. Joseph’s).
Additionally, the area offers convenient access to Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, and the Bay Area, all while providing more affordable housing options. Additional incentives may also be available for this opportunity.
