Stockroom Clerk

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Stockroom Clerk to join their team. As a Stockroom Clerk, you will be part of the inventory management team supporting efficient material control and stockroom functions.

Job Title: Stockroom Clerk

Location: Peabody, MA (This company will be relocating to Salem, NH in a near future)

MUST BE WILLING TO MAKE COMMUTE TO PEABODY AS WELL AS SALEM NH

Pay Range: $20-$22/hr based on experience

Shift: 9/80 Work Schedule; Mon-Fri flexible start time 6:00am-7:00am (9 hour shift), with every other Friday off.

What's the Job?

• Perform material control functions including cycle counting and kitting.
• Manage material put away and fill material requisitions efficiently.
• Conduct physical counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Utilize inventory management software and systems effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized stockroom environment.

What's Needed?

• Minimum 2 years’ experience performing physical counts of raw material, WIP, and Finish Goods in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledgeable in using inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems, barcode scanners).
• Attention to detail (Ability to notice discrepancies and errors in inventory counts).
• Strong organizational abilities to manage and prioritize counting tasks.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, either independently or in a group
