An award-winning hospital in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join its diagnostic imaging team. This is a permanent, full-time position with your choice of day or night shifts and no required holiday coverage. You'll be part of a collaborative team focused on providing high-quality, age-appropriate cardiac diagnostic care across a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform transthoracic, M-Mode, Doppler, transesophageal, stress, and pharmacologic echocardiograms

• Support additional cardiac tests including EKGs, Holter monitoring, and cardiac stress studies

• Operate a range of cardiac imaging equipment and software systems

• Ensure proper documentation, scheduling, and charge processing

• Practice and promote aseptic technique and infection control protocols

• Precept students and support clinical education as needed

• Deliver care for patients of all ages, including pediatric and neonatal populations

• Participate in a flexible team environment, performing duties within your scope as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS)

• BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start)

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in echocardiography OR completion of an accredited certification program

• Pediatric and neonatal experience preferred but not required

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Position Details:
$75,000 $114,000 annually, based on experience
Day or night shift available Full-time schedule with flexibility
