Opportunity: NP/PA - General Surgery

Job Details:

• Join a busy, established complex surgery team consisting of 5 Advanced Practitioners and 7 Physicians
• Support General Surgeons in the operation room as Surgical Assistant
• Provide pre-op and post-op patient education
• Coordinate diagnostic studies, consultations, procedures, and communications
• Manage post-op care including daily rounds, discharge, patient/family education, and follow-up clinic visits
• Evening and weekend call required
• Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills
• Work independently and collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Provide health care emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention
• Position requires high level of customer service skills
• May be eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation
