The facility operates across two locations - a main hospital and a valley hospital - and features modern equipment and a collaborative team environment focused on patient-centered care.Opportunity: Certified - Internal Medicine - Critical Care MedicineJob Details:12-hour nocturnist shifts from 6pm to 6amTwo weeks per month scheduleMaternity leave coverage from approximately November through end of FebruaryProviding coverage for two hospital locations - restricted shifts at main facility with virtual availability at valley hospital12+ patient encounters per shiftICU department with 12-15 bedsBoard certification required60-90 day credentialing timeframe (expedited privileges possible with clean history)ACLS and BLS certifications requiredLevel 3 trauma facilityRequired skills include ventilation management (invasive and non-invasive), evaluation of acute volume/BP issues, central line insertion, arterial line insertion, PA catheter insertion, intra-aortic balloon pump insertion, temporary placement, and ICP evaluation and managementPreferred skills include chest tube insertion, dialysis catheter placement, and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures (lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis)Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
