Anesthesiology Physician

A busymedical facility in Shrewsbury , Massachusetts is seeking a locums AnesthesiologyPhysician to provide full-time weekday coverage. This is a dynamic role with ablend of bread-and-butter, OB, thoracic, OBGYN, and complex general cases. Thepractice uses a 1:3 supervision model over CRNAs, but physicians can alsoperform solo cases if desired.

• Setting:Ambulatory Surgery Center

• Coverage Type: Full-Time Locums

• Team Structure: 8-9 anesthesiologists on staff daily
• Case Types: Bread and Butter, OB, Thoracic, OBGYN, Complex General
• Schedule:
• Monday-Friday
• 7:00 AM start (8:00 AM on Wednesdays)
• 10-12 hour shifts
• OB Call (In-House): Potential - 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
• Supervision Model: 1:3 with CRNAs, optional solo work available
• Call: OB call optional; no other required call at this time

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active Massachusetts Medical License - Required
• BLS and ACLS - Required
• Comfortable managing a broad range of case types including OB and thoracic anesthesia
• Prior supervisory experience over CRNAs preferred
