We are looking for a qualified full-time medical assistant to become part of our compassionate professionals, primarily located in North Scottsdale.

What You'll Do:
- Greet all visitors kindly and warmly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and colleagues, regardless of their communication preferences.
- Check in patients for their appointments, update demographic information, download devices, and collect necessary payments.
- Escort patients to examination rooms and record vital signs accurately.
- Complete chart preparation and auditing tasks.
- Meet assigned requirements in accordance with company standards.
- Schedule patients for follow-up visits and testing.
- Explain treatment estimates and associated costs to patients.
- Obtain prior authorization for medications and coordinate with the patient's preferred pharmacy for prescription refills.
- Engage in process improvements by actively enhancing patient experiences and satisfaction.
What You'll Need:
- Certification as a medical assistant (CMA, RMA, or an equivalent).
- Active BLS certification.
- Five or more years of experience as a medical assistant in a healthcare setting.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Reliable transportation is a must, and punctuality is essential.
- Responsiveness to patients and team members via in-person interactions, phone, text, and email.
- Problem-solving skills are essential for navigating and resolving issues effectively.
- Strong time management, which includes being organized, prioritizing tasks, and planning your day.
- Familiarity with patient management software systems (e.g., Athena, Phreesia, and NikoHealth).
- A high level of professionalism and commitment to patient-centered care.
Compensation details: 18-23 Hourly Wage
