About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Truss Designer with proven experience using MiTek software to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design of roof and floor truss systems for residential, commercial, or multi-family construction projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and collaborate with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design roof, floor, and/or wall truss systems using MiTek Structure software.
  
  
• Interpret architectural and structural plans to develop accurate truss layouts and shop drawings.
  
  
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and production teams to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
  
  
• Optimize truss designs for cost-efficiency, structural performance, and code compliance.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 23 years of experience designing trusses using MiTek software (Structure, Sapphire, or equivalent).
  
  
• Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction practices.
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural blueprints.
  
  
• Proficiency in structural load paths, bearing, deflection, uplift, and code compliance.
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
  
  
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
