Join a Team That Puts Families FirstCompass Health is seeking a Family Support Partner to join our Island & San Juan WISe Team—a passionate and collaborative group dedicated to empowering families and caregivers of youth with complex behavioral health needs. Your lived experience as a caregiver makes you a uniquely powerful resource in helping families heal and thrive.
About the WISe ProgramWISe (Wraparound with Intensive Services) is a high-impact program serving Medicaid-eligible youth (up to age 21) with serious emotional and behavioral challenges. Services are delivered in natural settings like homes, schools, and communities to keep families together and reduce out-of-home placements.

What You’ll Be DoingCollaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver strength-based, individualized support.
Use your own lived experience to build trust and connection with caregivers.
Coach families in navigating systems (mental health, schools, child welfare, etc.).
Help caregivers find their voice and build skills to advocate for their child’s needs.
Provide flexible support in homes, schools, and community spaces—some evening/weekend hours required.
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: AA or BA in a related field
Must be 21+ years old
Must have lived experience as a parent/caregiver of a child with behavioral health challenges
Completion of Certified Peer Counselor online training (or willingness to complete upon hire)
Valid WA State Driver’s License & insured vehicle
Child development and parenting strategies
Trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care
Community resources for families
Ability to hold boundaries while offering hope
Comfort working with culturally diverse families
Computer and EMR skills (we’ll train you!)
(benefits prorated for part-time)
