Physician / New York / Locum or Permanent / Site Physician - Geriatric Care Job

One of the largest not-for-profits focused on Geriatric Care in the nation is looking for a Site Physician for their location in Brooklyn. They offer a competitive base salary and full benefits package. Job Function: Day Shift. 8am- 5pm. Direct the medical care and treatment of patients and have primary medical responsibility in overseeing and supporting the care rendered by other members of the interdisciplinary care team. Will be based out of clinic but may need to go into the field and go to patients homes, but there are home aides that do this. Collaborates with site NP community-based primary care providers on the shared population as well as social workers and dieticians. Will have own patient panel as Primary Care Provider and participates in direct medical care in the Diagnostic and Treatment Center providing med management, patient assessments, and examinations. Participates in developing preventive health screening, immunization programs, professional community outreach, quality assurance, etc.
