**Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist**

**Shift:** Monday to Thursday, 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM (4 ten-hour shifts; no on-call responsibilities)

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. Under the guidance of the Medical Director, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist, you will perform technical procedures, assist in the clinical evaluation and care of patients, and create diagnostic images using advanced CT technology.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform CT scans for trauma, emergency room cases, outpatients, inpatients, and research patients, ensuring a safe and positive experience.
- Operate CT scan equipment effectively and efficiently while adhering to radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care and imaging needs.
- Engage in learning opportunities to stay updated on evolving CT technology and practices.
- Enforce and practice safety protocols while interacting with patients, ensuring their comfort throughout the scanning process.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
- **Education:** Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and a high school diploma (high school + 1).
- **Licensure & Certification:**
- New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit to practice in the State of New York.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
- **Experience:** Entry-level applicants welcome; limited or no experience acceptable. Position level assigned based on skill set and experience.
