Job Description
Key Areas of Responsibility (Answerable for the following end results)
· General housekeeping activities inside and outside of the facility.
· Document all activities as required.
· Daily
o Clean, maintain and sanitize restrooms
o Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and counters including chairs.
o Empty trash and recycling bins
o Vacuum offices (off shift)
o Wipe out drinking fountains
o Wipe down the training room.
o Vacuum training room
o Microwaves should be cleaned out twice daily (once in the morning and once in the evening
o Water Machines
· Weekly
o Check corners in offices for cobwebs.
o Hard surfaces, kiosks in breakroom front of vending machines etc.
o Dust the top of lockers, furniture and fixtures
o Windows for the front door entrance need to be wiped down.
o All Refrigerators cleaned
· Monthly
o Windows
o Vacuum offices (off shift)
· Quarterly
o Windowsills
o Cubical dividers should be wiped down.
o Air vents in offices, bathrooms, training room etc. cleaned.
· Stocking cleaning supplies
· Safety Perimeter Walk
· Adhere to all company guidelines for Emergency Evacuation to ensure employee safety.
· Any additional responsibility deemed necessary by management.
Limits of Authority
· Advise Department Manager/Supervisor of those situations that may pose a significant risk to the program, product assurance, facilities, and employee safety or customer satisfaction results.
· Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to products, process & systems.
· Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process or system.
· Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through the appropriate channels and verify implementation.
· Control further processing and delivery of nonconforming products until the deficiency is corrected.
Basic Education, Experience and Training Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Basic knowledge of cleaning products including chemicals supplies and methods used for used to clean and maintain the office and plant environment.
· Able to maintain confidentiality.
