Summary

As Financial Center Manager, you are responsible for leading and managing the overall performance, operations, and strategic direction of their assigned branches. They ensure that each location meets financial and sales targets, maintains compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivers an exceptional customer experience. By mentoring and supporting branch staff, they foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture while addressing training and development needs. This role involves analyzing financial data, implementing process improvements, and aligning branch activities with the bank's broader goals. Additionally, they play a key role in risk management and representing the bank in community initiatives to build strong relationships and drive market growth. They act as the central link between branches and retail leadership, ensuring that all locations operate cohesively and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Training and Development: Oversee staff training to enhance skills and ensure professional growth.
  • Community Engagement: Represent the bank in community events and initiatives to strengthen its reputation and build local connections.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor staff ensuring alignment with the bank's goals and values.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address escalated customer or employee concerns and resolve conflicts effectively to maintain a positive environment.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring all branches operate within the bank's risk tolerance.
  • Policy and Procedure Implementation: Ensure all bank policies, procedures, and initiatives are carried out consistently across assigned branches.
  • Operational Standardization: Oversee the uniform application of operational standards and practices as defined by the bank.
  • Change Management: Lead the branch through change initiatives, helping staff adapt to new processes, technologies, or organizational goals set by the bank.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a banking environment with a focus on customer service.
  • Minimum of 3 years in banking or financial services.
  • Minimum of 3 years of team management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience.
  • Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
  • Familiarity with debits, credits, and basic accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management.
  • Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, TILA, and Fair Housing regulations is preferred.
  • Basic math proficiency for accurate financial calculations.
  • Experience in underwriting processes is a plus.
