Position Overview:
The Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I) provides direct care, assists with daily living activities, and supports nursing staff in delivering quality healthcare to juveniles in custody.

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensure:
- Current CNA I certification in North Carolina.
- Registered with the North Carolina CNA Registry.
- CPR certification (required).
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience preferred (clinical or correctional settings a plus).
- Technical Skills: Medication administration (if required), hygiene assistance, and patient monitoring.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality nursing care to residents.
- Administer medication when/if required.
- Assist with daily living activities and hygiene.
- Report pertinent information to supervisors.
- Coordinate work with nursing and other facility staff.
