Project Focus: Walmart Remodel – Sprinkler System Upgrade
Start Date: 08/11/2025 to 12/4/2026
This is an overnight shift. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Job Description:
We are hiring 1–2 Commercial Ceiling Grid Technicians to assist with the removal and replacement of ceiling tiles during a Walmart remodel. This work is part of a sprinkler system upgrade, and you'll be helping provide access for our fire protection subcontractor.
Key Responsibilities:
Remove and replace ceiling tiles as needed for sprinkler system access
Work safely and efficiently on 40 ft scissor lifts
Coordinate with other trades and follow directions from the site supervisor
Maintain a clean, safe work area
Requirements:
Experience with commercial ceiling tile work
Comfortable working at heights and using scissor lifts
Lift certification preferred (or willing to get certified)
Strong focus on job site safety
English fluency is required for communication and safety
Must be reliable and able to work independently
Nice to Have:
Experience in retail remodels or working in active store environments
Familiarity with light framing or grid systems
