Server

Position Summary:
Servers at Bentwater Golf Club are responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences by delivering prompt, professional, and courteous service to members and guests. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure all tables are clean, properly set, and maintained throughout service
• Be knowledgeable of menu items, daily specials, and wine pairings
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and club service standards
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate orders
• Handle member/guest concerns or complaints with professionalism
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking and cleaning

Qualifications:

• Prior serving experience preferred (club, fine dining, or upscale casual)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be at least 18 years old (or meet state minimum for alcohol service)

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 30 lbs
