Job Description:

  • We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to act as a liaison between top management at Ford and Client plants.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preventive maintenance for sheet metal tooling, welding fixtures, robotic welding, gauges, assembly line fixtures, and tools.
  • This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage crisis situations, oversee logistics, support launches, identify operational gaps, drive continuous improvements, and ensure compliance with maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary maintenance liaison between Ford and Client management teams.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance schedules and programs for manufacturing equipment, including robotic welding systems, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Provide crisis management support, troubleshooting urgent operational issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless production flow and launch support.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and maintenance gaps, implementing strategic improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Drive action items, ensuring timely execution and reporting updates to Ford and Client leadership.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards for all maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in maintenance management within an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal tooling, robotic welding, assembly fixtures, and preventive maintenance methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of handling crisis scenarios and logistics challenges.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively liaise with executive stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance for automotive manufacturing.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable maintenance strategies
