Network Security Engineer

Our Technology Staffing team is looking to speak with Boston area candidates who would be a good fit according to the specifications below:

Responsibilities: 

• Provide technical leadership across the IT organization in support of the network security initiatives 

• Support the network segmentation strategy across the global organization 

• Develop, document, and update standards documentation 

• Responsible for engineering and supporting network security technologies 

• Evaluate new security technologies to better improve efficiencies 

• Act as the final technical escalation point of contact 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent 

• 7+ years' experience in the network security field 

• High-level certification in a major security technology is preferred 

• Ability to lead and execute large, complex projects 

• Strong technical expertise required in the following areas: Firewalls, Network Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, Routers and Switches, SIEM, Packet decoding and analysis, Web Proxy Servers, Load Balancing, SSL VPN Solutions, Web application firewalls and data loss prevention technologies
