Location: Eagle Pass, TX
Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Schedule: Monday – Friday with on-call every third weekend
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Description:
Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of medical conditions. Responsible for operating sonographic equipment, ensuring patient safety, and producing high-quality images for physician interpretation. The role includes performing a variety of imaging studies including OB, general, and vascular exams. The technologist acts as a key interface with patients and healthcare staff, ensuring accurate and timely imaging services while adapting to changing facility needs.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Perform ultrasound imaging procedures including OB, general, and vascular studies
  • \t
  • Operate sonographic equipment to capture diagnostic-quality images
  • \t
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • \t
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare staff regarding imaging results
  • \t
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • \t
  • Follow established protocols and adapt to facility requirements
  • \t
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required

Requirements:

    \t
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasonographer
  • \t
  • OB experience required
  • \t
  • RDMS certification required
  • \t
  • BLS certification required
  • \t
  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography program
  • \t
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • \t
  • Ability to operate multiple types of imaging equipment
  • \t
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and facility needs
