Travel Radiation Therapist I $3400 (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 40 hours/week

 

Job Details:
Specialty: Radiation Therapist – Oncology Department
Schedule: Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
Shift Length: 8-hour day shifts 

Contract Duration: 13 weeks 

Radius Rule: 100-mile radius applies

Start Date: August 10, 2026 
 

Position Requirements:

✅Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience required.

✅Must be a graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.

✅Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

✅Current BLS certification required.

✅Must maintain all required state and federal licenses/registrations.

✅Strong knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and radiation oncology principles.

✅Preferred candidates with specific Radiation Oncology and Radiologic ✅Technology training/experience.

 

Technical Skills / Facility Experience:

✅Experience with Varian TrueBeam and Varian IX treatment systems preferred.

✅Proficiency with ARIA software preferred.

✅Ability to provide safe, accurate, and compassionate radiation therapy treatments in an oncology setting.

 

Key Responsibilities:

✅Deliver prescribed radiation treatments according to physician-approved treatment plans.

✅Operate radiation therapy equipment while maintaining patient safety and treatment accuracy.

✅Perform patient setup, verification, and imaging procedures.

✅Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, and oncology care teams.

✅Maintain accurate treatment documentation and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
