Machinist

Adecco is seeking a Entry to mid-level Machinist to join our clients team of qualified and diverse professionals. They specialize in the manufacturing of metal and carbon-graphite components for a variety of precision applications. Pay- $19-$25/hour

Shift: 4:30PM-3AM Monday- Thursday

Location: Tempe, AZ

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a variety of CNC and or manual machine tools including lathes and milling machines

• Machine metal and carbon-graphite parts to exacting tolerances and specifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings

• Determine sequence of operations, number of cuts, and method of setup

• Use machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments

• Perform shop calculations related to dimensions, tooling, feeds, and speeds

• Measure, mark, and scribe materials for machining layouts

• Fit and assemble precision parts for mechanical equipment

• Identify necessary materials, parts, and tools

• Operate CNC machines as needed

Requirements:

• Proficient with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

• Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience

• Understanding and or knowledge of machining techniques, materials, and tools

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications

• Ability to perform standard shop math and measurements

Pay Details: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour
