Job Opportunity: Executive Chef – Iconic Destination Restaurant in Washington, DC

Are you a culinary leader ready to take the helm of an iconic destination restaurant in the heart of Washington, DC? We are seeking an Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations, lead a talented team of sous chefs, and deliver exceptional culinary experiences that match our restaurant's renowned reputation.

About the Role

As the Executive Chef, you will:

• Oversee all kitchen operations and culinary execution for a $4M+ operation within a structured and professional setting.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sous chefs and kitchen staff to ensure excellence in every dish.
• Collaborate closely with the General Manager and report directly to the Director of Culinary Operations to align on strategy, quality, and innovation.
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation while managing costs and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• A stable and proven background in high-volume, structured culinary environments.
• Experience managing a $4M+ operation with a focus on quality, consistency, and team leadership.
• Expertise in casual American-style cuisine and/or Latin American cuisine is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing kitchen team.
• A passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to upholding the restaurant’s iconic reputation.

What We Offer
