American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift travel contract at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated acute care hospital in Illinois, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and advanced fetal monitoring skills.

- Labor and Delivery unit within a Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated acute care hospital (562 beds) \n
- 4x12-hour night shifts (18:45–07:15) \n
- Required to work every third weekend \n
- Floating is required for all travelers — candidates may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital \n
- No on-call requirements \n
- Charting is done in Cerner \n
- Scrubs are provided for this role \n
- Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction \n

- Active Illinois (IL) RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration \n
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AHA or Red Cross accepted; RQI AHA cards are not accepted) \n
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required \n
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) interpretation skills and experience required \n
- Teaching hospital experience preferred \n
- SSN and DOB required for consideration \n

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n
- Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays \n
- RTO of more than 5 non-holiday days requires facility approval \n
- Any former permanent or PRN employee of the Memorial Hospital System must have been separated for at least 12 months before being eligible to apply as a traveler \n
- Travel pairs are not accepted \n
- Schedule change requests should be discussed directly with the manager \n
