 Position Summary

The Journeyman Electrician plays a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production operations by performing troubleshooting, maintenance, instrumentation, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, minimizing downtime, and supporting the overall safety and performance of the facility’s electrical systems.

 Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems.
• Repair electrical and electronic equipment.
• Perform instrumentation responsibilities for production system.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment failures.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to support process improvements.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.

 Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Journeyman (U.A.W. card required)
• Legal: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Schedule: Must be available to work off-shift hours as required by production needs.
