TEAM LEAD/Mobile Phlebotomist

We're looking for dedicated and professional Mobile Phlebotomists to join our team, covering Richmond Pines MWF and Pinehurst Monday-Friday. This role requires starting as early as 3:00 AM and completing collections before 8:00 AM to meet fasting requirements. Responsibilities:

• Begin shift as early as 3:00 AM to ensure timely collections at all assigned facilities.
• Travel to White Oak Lancaster, Rock Hill, and York to collect blood samples from residents.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and maintain proper documentation using eLab and collection lists.
• Prepare and process specimens according to established procedures (SST, Ammonia, Glucose, Blood Cultures, etc.).
• Transport specimens to the designated lab or drop-off point, maintaining appropriate temperature controls.
• Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor, providing compassionate care to patients, including those who may be challenging or non-compliant.
• Conduct monthly client inventory checks and place supply orders as needed.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures, including HIPAA regulations and PPE requirements.
• Follow attendance and reporting protocols, including daily check-ins and timely submission of mileage blotters.

Qualifications:

• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of phlebotomy procedures and specimen handling.
• Proficiency with eLab and medical documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Ability to adhere to professional attire and grooming standards.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy.
