• Description: UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central is looking for a Locum Otolaryngologist to fill their weekend call needs!Schedule:Backfilling due to leave of absencesWeekend Call Coverage: Fridays to Mondays - 7am-7amDates Needed Coverage:Nov 28-30 Dec 5-7Dec 19-21coverage will last until Mid-February 2026Details:Practice Type: Hospital/CallPractice Percentage: Adult: 90 Pediatric: 10 Trauma: 15 Office/Clinic: 40 Hospital: 20 Non-surgical: 60 Surgical: 40Average number of Office/Clinic per physician per day: Scheduled - 15 Add-ons - 1-2 Surgeries - 1-5/full dayAverage number of hospital patients per physician per day: Admissions - 1-3 Surgeries: 1-2 7:30a-5pNumber of physicians in the practice: 7 Mid-levels: 5Locum tenens physician required to supervise other healthcare providers: Yes M-F 7a-3p APP/PA assists with call coverage hospital consults and ER follow ups. On Call Physician supervises.Other Otolaryngologist will be present during locum tenens coverage: YesLab amp X-ray onsite: YesNumber of exam rooms: 4Office ancillary: No RNs or LPNs in clinic. 1 MA per provider each clinic site on averageOffice Equipements: Rigid and Flexible endoscopes telepacks microscopes EMR: EPIC for both Office/Clinic and HospitalReferral/Transfer protocol: Docline transfer MHC is regional level I trauma referral center. Coverage of ancillary UCH sites in El Paso amp Teller CountyRequired Procedures:Endoscopic procedures septal sinus laryngoscopyTracheotomyFacial Reconstruction facial fractures and lacerations only. No cleft lip/palate amp free flapPreferred Procedures:ThyroidectomyOther Requirements:Facial trauma call if shared with Oral Surgery ENT amp Plastic Surgery teams. Generally in 7 days of ENT call 1-3 are Facial Trauma as well.Travel Reimbursement:Must send provider flights and lodging info 4 weeks before start. Flights - Up to 750 RT capLodging - Reimbursed by Receipt - 150/night before taxes and feesCar rental - Reimbursed by Receipt - up to an economy car cap.Mileage - IRS Standard Rate.Bill Rates Needed for Submission:Malpractice must be included in the rates24 Hour On Calll24 Hour On Call HolidayConversion Fee 25k rate cap
