Location: 1125 East Pearl Street, Batesville, IN 47006 (Hybrid)
Duration: 12mos to start (+ potential to convert to Direct Hire)
Rate: Roughly $30-35/hour W2 + Benefits
Job Description:
The Sustaining Engineering Project Team is responsible for managing and coordinating engineering product design changes for currently released products. This team consists of project leaders and engineers who collaborate to address the evolving needs of each project and resolve issues to prevent delays and disruptions to operations.
As part of this team, the Engineering Project Lead will manage design changes for medical device products such as hospital beds and equipment. These projects may involve design improvements, compliance updates, quality enhancements, or support for operations and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead cross-functional project teams from planning through implementation, including internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize project management tools to plan and execute projects, coach team members, solve problems, and drive decision-making.
• Manage multiple small to medium-sized projects with limited supervision.
• Communicate project updates effectively across various levels of the organization.
• Support change control KPI reporting and overall project tracking.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Track and communicate project risks to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Sustaining Engineering Project Team.
Qualifications (Required):
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-3 years of project management experience handling projects of various sizes.
• Proven ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sourcing, operations, quality, regulatory, and marketing.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to timely project execution.
Qualifications (Desired):
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Monte Carlo simulation.
• Familiarity with Agile Product Lifecycle Management from Oracle.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
