Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Evaluations

Our organization is in search of a committed Clinical Psychologist to become part of our team, focusing on medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits process. In this role, you will assess behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and conduct thorough in-person evaluations for each Veteran.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform in-person disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
• Examine and interpret electronic medical records via a secure online platform.
• Carefully document findings from assessments and complete necessary VA forms.

Note: This position does not involve providing treatment or prescribing medications. Disability decisions are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the psychologist.

Position Overview:

• Schedule: Full-Time, 5 days a week (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
• Location: Hybrid, combining Telehealth and in-person evaluations.
• Caseload: Approximately 4 Veterans per day.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.

Qualifications:

• Possesses a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program.
• Holds an active and unrestricted psychology license.
• Comfortable utilizing technology for record reviews and documentation.
