No block schedule requests, 48 hour can be considered but not guaranteed *Orientation Weekly Located in Lake Havasu City Joint Commission Accredited 171 beds Community hospital and regional referral center Certified Chest Pain Center Level Trauma 3 Havasu, AZ Outdoor recreation central Beautiful mountain ranges paired with serene lake scenery Close to major cities such as: Las Vegas- 2.5 hours drive Phoenix- 3.25 hours drive Grand Canyon National Park- 3.5 hours Los Angeles or San Diego, CA- 5 hours **Local Rate: $48 - candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered Travel** General Comments Unit Profile Facility Name:   HRMC JV GENERAL PARTNER Floor: Location Address:   101 Civic Center Lane, Lake Havasu City, AZ Position Information: • Facility Department/Cost Center: 625 • Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN M/S Tele • Specialty: M/S Tele • Number of Openings: 1 • Shift: 3x12s • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 • Weekend Hours: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period • Call Requirements: NONE ( we don’t schedule them to be on-call; but we can flex their scheduled shifts to an on call shift as needed twice in their contract • Required Certifications: ACLS • Years of Experience: 2 • Float Requirements: floating to other units (IMC, ED) in the hospital is an expectation   Unit Information: • Number of Beds: 40 • Patient Ratios: 1:6 • Equipment: Baxter for IV pumps; Posey for our bed/chair alarms; Omnicel for our drug dispensing cabinet; Zoll for our defibrillators • EHR: Medhost • Supervisor: Tanya Hawkins • Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: adult/geriatric Hiring Profile: • Must Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry; recent acute care experience ; can handle 6 patient ratio; Travel experience  • Preferred Skillset/Experience: at least 2 yrs RN experience; preceptor and charge experience is a plus; • Type of Patients on Unit: total joint patients; surgical patients; ACS; pts with acute on chronic medical conditions like CHF, CKD; alcohol withdrawal; SIRS; GIB;  • Personality Fit: compassionate, positive, can-do attitude • Required Education: ADN Dress Code: • Scrub Color: black (top and bottom) • Any unacceptable attire: open shoes
