Oversees and participates in the coordination, development, and maintenance of the Kodiak Emergency Operations Plan; participates in the development and maintenance of the Borough Hazard Mitigation Plan; ensures plans are approved, updated, and distributed. Coordinates and maintains inventory of emergency contacts, Borough and City’s physical resources explicitly allocated./liliAnalyzes hazards and assures City and regional compliance with local, state and federal emergency planning regulations. Makes appropriate Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) additions and modifications./liliFormulates and implements operating policy to facilitate programs and the EOP throughout the community. Oversees and manages the development of program policies, goals and objectives./liliFunctions as part of incident command or general staff during an emergency.
