Mold Technician - 2nd Shift

As a Mold Technician, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality products by ensuring that molds are properly maintained, created, and operating efficiently./ppstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/pul liIntermediate-level toolmaker responsible for creating new molds, as well as modifying and repairing current molds./li liConduct regular inspections and maintenance of molds to ensure optimal performance./li liExecute intermediate resin procedures, including sanding and drilling molds, as well as fabricating trim tools, templates, and jigs.nbsp;/li liEnsure molds are cleaned and stored properly after use to prevent damage/li liOperate machinery to test molds before sending to production. /li liWork closely with Engineering and Quality staff to improve overall efficiency of tools. /li liFollow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area./li listrongSchedule: Monday-Friday, 2nd shift 12:30-9:00 pm /strong/li /ulp/ppstrongCompensation is $24+/hr. depending on experience /strong/ppstrongRequirements/strong/pul liMinimum of 2 years of experience working with molds in a manufacturing environment./li liFamiliar with tooling equipment, materials, and processes used in a mold shop./li /ulul liWillingness to wear respirator and other required personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary./li liProficient in use of measuring devices such as rulers, calculators and perform shop math/li liStrong mechanical aptitude/li liExcellent attention to detail and commitment to quality./li liAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team./li liGood communication and interpersonal skills./li liPhysical ability to lift and move heavy molds (up to 75lbs) as required./li liMust have prior manufacturing experience; preferred experience operating vacuum forming machinery, fiberglass process, autobody or FRP (Fiber reinforced plastic)/li liForklift certification a plus/li /ulpstrongBenefits/strong/pul li401(k) matching/li liDental insurance/li liHealth insurance/li liHealth savings account/li liLife insurance/li liPaid time off/li liVision insurance/li /ul
