This position may also assist in doing the Laundry/ppstrongEssential Functions:/strong/pulliPerform daily cleaning functions as assigned/liliClean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, etc in rooms, common areas daily as instructed/liliClean wash, sanitize and/or polish bathroom fixtures/liliClean windows/mirrors in rooms, common areas, bathrooms and entrances/exits/liliClean floors to include sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, etc./liliClean walls as needed/liliUse proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions and ensure that appropriate supplies are maintained/liliDiscard waste/trash into proper containers, including any infectious waste into appropriate containers/liliClean and sanitize vacant rooms in preparation for future residents/liliCollect resident clothing and linens, sort and launder, iron if needed, returning to resident rooms when complete/liliMend or repair clothing if possible/liliReport any repairs needed to supervisor/liliAll other duties as assigned/li/ulpbr//ppRequirements/ppnbsp;strongQualifications/Experience:/strong/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED/liliLong-term care or hospitality industry experience preferred/liliPassion for helping others/liliExcellent customer service skills/liliMulti-tasking skills/liliPhysical Requirements include ability to Lift up to 35 pounds, push and pull objects up to 35 pounds, ability to move consistently throughout the workday./li/ul
