h2Overview/h2 pEARN WHILE YOU LEARN – Benedictine sponsored CNA-NAR training classes will set you on a path to a long lasting career. /p p                    /p pAs an associate of Benedictine, you will be given the tools and skills necessary to be successful as a Certified Nursing Assistant.  There is no cost for the training and you will get paid and earn a certification while you train. /p h2Responsibilities/h2 ul liThe Nursing Assistant Trainee must attend all scheduled classes and successfully pass the state required certification test./li liThe Nursing Assistant Trainee will collect initial and ongoing data on all residents and report the condition and changes to the RN or LPN./li liThe Nursing Assistant Trainee will communicate and interact with residents, families, and other health team members./li /ul h2Qualifications/h2 ul liMust currently be enrolled in and attending a CNA-NAR training program or be hired into a Benedictine NA training program/li liMust be eligible to be on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity pending successful completion of training/li liMust be able to read, write and communicate in English/li liBLS Certification./li /ul pBenedictine and our Ministry partners are a non-profit senior care organization founded by the sisters of St. Scholastica that operates on four core values: Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice.
