As servant leaders, we lead by example./p pstrongShift: Friday - Sunday, 6 am - 6 pm/strong/p pstrong$25/hour plus $1.50/hour Shift Differential - Great benefits after 30 days!/strong/p pstrongPosition Summary/strong/p pThe purpose of this role is to make yard moves in a safe, efficient and timely manner, as directed by dispatch and plant management using company owned vehicles./p pstrongAccountabilities/strong/p ul listrongEngage in Safety to ensure Plan To Zero (PTZ) is met/strong ul liConduct all activities and perform all job duties and functions following strict adherence to established, company implemented safety behaviors, processes, and procedures. /li liOperate in accordance with CSA 2010 7 Basics/li liComplete all required truck and trainer inspections, yard checks, and other misc. paperwork./li /ul /li listrongImprove and maintain Quality Expectations/strong ul liMake yard moves in an efficient and timely manner, as directed by dispatch and plant management./li liEffectively communicate with management on equipment needs and repairs as they arise./li liEffectively communicate with site personnel, customers, vendors and business partners in a professional business appropriate manner. /li /ul /li listrongProduction Expectations are understood, achieved and sustained/strong ul liProduction-based position; must be able to effectively meet minimum production and quality requirements./li liMay be required to operate a Forklift, in a safe and efficient manner (training and certification to be provided, if necessary)./li liLoading/unloading trailers, moving pallets, freight, products, supplies, etc./li liAny other duties as assigned by site leadership./li /ul /li listrongMission and Values/strong ul liAble to effectively work within a diverse team environment./li /ul /li /ul pstrongGeneral Responsibilities/strong/p ul li ul liPerform sanitation, �Clean as You Go,� and good housekeeping practices in the assigned tractor and trailers and as direct by site leadership./li liAbility to lift up to 70 lbs. consistently throughout duration of shift./li /ul /li /ul pstrongQualifications/strongstrong /strong/p ul liCurrent CDL Class A License preferred./li liCurrent DOT Physical Card./li liClean driving record./li liAbility to successfully pass Random Drug Screens./li liHigh School Diploma, GED, or comparable work related experience preferred./li /ul p /p pRehrig Pacific Company is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
