Executive Director, Surgical Procedural Services - Full-time

Overview: pResponsible for planning, facilitating, coordinating and evaluating patient care services, personnel and budgeting processes for Surgical Services, Interventional Lab, as well as oversee Anesthesia Services at Raleigh and North Hospitals while collaborating with staff, surgeons, medical staff leadership, registration, marketing and other system administrators involved in surgical, interventional and anesthesia strategic visioning and planning in promoting all areas of responsibility. Integrates and aligns patient care and teams with the overall strategic plan for the health system. Visible clinical leader involved in supporting clinical process improvements (WW2E methodology), ensuring evidence-based nursing practice and raising the bar for patient care outcomes and professional development of team. Collaborates with other nursing executives in the provision of nursing care, administration and supervisory staff in providing guidance on staffing, management, organization, and planning for the delivery of surgical, invasive and anesthesia services, as well as anticipating and planning for future changes and challenges. Shares Dyad responsibilities with the Medical Director of Trauma Operative Services for Surgical and Anesthesia Services. Participates actively as a member of the System Nurse Executive Committee and serves on system-driven councils, medical staff committees and task forces as appropriate. Embraces ANCC standards for ensuring and sustaining health work environments. Promotes the ANA Code of Ethics for values, duties, and commitments. Utilizes the ANA Nursing Administration standards for practice to understand and respond to the needs of the organization.
