pCreate an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor all established quality assurance standards. liCreate an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store./li
liGain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and be able to respond to questions and make suggestions about products./li
liLabel, stock and inventory department merchandise./li
liReport product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager./li
liStay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads./li
liObserve scheduled shift operating hours./li
liAdhere to all local, state and federal health and civil codes./li
liModel excellent customer service, demonstrating friendliness, and maintaining a clean and orderly department./li
liDemonstrate creative merchandising./li
liKeep displays fully stocked and conditioned according to department standards./li
liBe aware of arrival dates of products./li
liMaintain workload to guarantee that production deadlines are met./li
liReceive and utilize all bulletins, announcements, and special programs to assist with creating additional sales./li
liComplete all paperwork according to company policy./li
liEnsure that all current merchandising, customer service, cash control, labor control, expense and supply controls, loss prevention, maintenance, safety, associate and customer engagement rules are being followed./li
liPromote sales through intercom announcements./li
liReinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions and notify store management./li
liPractice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair./li
liNotify management of customer or employee accidents./li
liReport all safety risks, or issues, and illegal activity, including: robbery, theft or fraud./li
liMust be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation./li
