pAt Dollywood Parks Resorts, we create memories worth repeating. We do this every day across Dollywood Resorts which includes over 600 rooms and 15 Food Beverage outlets, all located in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. Our plan is to grow our resort footprint to over 1200 rooms across five resorts at Dollywood and to add other resorts to our overall company resort portfolio.  Ask anyone who has visited Dollywood Parks Resorts and they will tell you this place is different. The recipe for the right Security Officer - Level III will be equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, mentor and motivator./p p style="text-align: justify;"The role of Security Officer exists to protect people and property and ensure we provide an engaging, yet professional, first impression as we report and respond to all safety/security issues, concerns, and emergency situations.  The ideal candidate will enforce security procedures at Dollywood Parks Resorts and achieve our vision of a safe and secure environment for all while always protecting the assets of the resort, guests, and hosts./p p style="text-align: justify;"Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to display and live out emLead with Love/em qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable./p p style="text-align: justify;" /p p style="text-align: justify;"strongSummary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities/strong/p ul liPatrol front and back of house resort areas, reporting any safety or security hazards, illegal or unacceptable behavior, or suspicious persons to Security/hotel management for direction and resolution/li liAct as an ambassador of the resort by being visible and available to guests and hosts, always in a courteous and professional manner/li liEnsures secure premises by thoroughly checking all floors, stairwells, exit doors, storage areas, critical access areas, fire and safety equipment, parking lots, swimming pools, etc., in accordance with security checklist/li liConduct and document all assigned foot and mobile patrols/li liDocument all security related issues and assistance provided in appropriate Security reports/li liComplete incident reports for guest/host accidents, incidents, reports of theft/li liAssist in the investigation of incidents and submit daily reports in accordance with Safety Security Manual/li liResponds to and resolves reported noise complaints/li liAccess security surveillance system, monitor radio communications, and Fire Control Systems/li liAssist in random bag and locker inspections as well as host random substance testing/li liEnforce resort rules/regulations in accordance with Host Manual and resort policy/li liMonitor and ensure employee compliance to resort key control policies and assist with room guest lock outs/li liCompletely understand and be able to perform resort emergency procedures/li liProvide first responder assistance in the event of a guest or host accident or injury/li liEnsures that all parts of the facility are secured and locked at their scheduled times, fire extinguishers have been inspected and are working properly, fire doors are cleared, and parking regulations are maintained/li /ul pstrongManagement reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any time./strong/p p /p p style="text-align: justify;"strongEducation and Experience Required/strong/p ul style="text-align: justify;" liAbility to cope with situations firmly, courteously, tactfully, and with respect for the rights of others/li liAt least one year of experience working successfully in a similar role. Preference will be given to candidates with prior Law Enforcement or Security related experience/li liMust be able to meet the qualifications to be certified as a Security Officer by the State of Tennessee, licensed by the Department of Commerce Insurance Private Protection Services as prescribed by the Tennessee Code Annotated 62-35 Act of 1922 (See attachments TCA 62-35-116, TCA 62-35-117)/li liMust be at least twenty-one (21) years of age/li liAbility to develop skill in the use and care of firearms/li liMust possess valid Tennessee driver’s license and have state required auto insurance/li liFirst Aid and C.P.R. certification required or ability to obtain a certification in a timely manner/li liMust be willing and able to pass First Responder Course and apply material when needed/li liMust be able to meet the same requirements as a police officer for the State of Tennessee:/li liMust have high school diploma or equivalent/li liMust pass a background check and drug screen/li liMust be able to pass a credit check/li liMust not have been convicted of or pleaded guilty to or entered a plea of nolo contendere to any felony charge or to any violation of any federal or state laws or city ordinances relating to force, violence, theft, dishonesty, gambling, liquor and other alcoholic beverages or controlled substances/li liMust not have been released or discharged under any other than honorable discharge from any of the armed forces of the United States/li liMust have fingerprints on file with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation/li liMust pass a physical examination by a licensed physician/li liMust have good moral character as determined by a thorough investigation conducted by the employing agency;
