We are also a publicly traded company on the NYSE with the ticker symbol KNF and part of the SP MidCap 400 index./p pstrongJob Summary:/strong/p ul liSafely operate the ready-mix plant to batch materials according to mix design specifications./li liUtilizes computerized batching software to accurately weigh and load aggregates, cement, water, and admixtures in the production of ready-mix concrete. Ensures consistency, quality, and timely delivery of concrete while maintaining safety and operational standards./li /ul pstrongSalary Range:/strong $34.00-$38.00 / Hour/p pstrongHours per week:/strong 40+/p pspanstrongDuties and/or Responsibilities:/strong/span/p ul liPerform daily equipment, walk arounds and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained, conduct toolbox meetings daily/weekly./li liMaintain accurate records of production, deliveries and material usage./li liCommunicate with quality control personnel and make required adjustments to mix designs./li liMonitor and manage inventory levels of all raw materials. Order materials as needed and ensure proper storage and handling./li liMonitor and troubleshoot batching equipment./li liSafely and properly operate ready mix plant ensuring each load meets quality standards./li liCommunicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others./li liConduct routine quality checks on concrete (slump, air content, temperatures, etc.)./li liLead personnel at plant and work with dispatch to schedule drivers./li liMonitor plant site to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow./li liTroubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, ). Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors./li liProven experience handling priorities in a fast-paced production environment./li liAbility to perform basic math problems (weights, volumes, ratios)./li liHighly organized with strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate batching and timely deliveries of ready mix concrete./li liAccurately complete plant reports and other documentation as/li liEnsure MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation Maintain safe working environment and foster safety culture, ensure good housekeeping skills and lockout/ Tagout procedures.
