Each of our employees bring their best every day and together we create high-quality products our customers and consumers enjoy. /spanbuspanPosition Anticipated 18–24-month position, eligible to earn a quarterly bonus and severance package. /span/u/bspanTo learn more visit us at spanhttp://www.saputo.com/careers/span/span/pp/ppbJob Summary:/b/ppThis position is primarily responsible for the safe loading and unloading of finished goods in accordance with customer orders, specifications and requirements.  Accurate inventory control in accordance with our product first-in/first-out (FIFO) inventory methods to maximize product code dates and rotation. /pulliSafe and efficient operation material handling equipment to include lift trucks, pallet jacks and electric battery handling equipment in support of OSHA Powered Industrial Truck requirements and Company policies./liliEffective and accurate operation of automated warehouse management software controls, inventory scanning and management tools./liliSafe and efficient loading and unloading of trailers, following internal/external requirements./liliLoad trailers in accordance with customer specifications./liliFollow FIFO and inventory control practices and procedures./liliSafe operation of terminal tractor “yard truck” to move semi-trailers for safe storage and loading./liliSafe and efficient operation of stretch-wrapping and palletizing equipment when necessary./liliPerform pre and post inspections of the trailer, lift truck and terminal tractor./liliEffective communication with internal and external customers./liliAbility to follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) in detail without deviation./liliPerform equipment safety pre-operational inspections./liliAccurately and neatly complete warehouse shipping and receiving records and documents./liliPerform department environmental and housekeeping controls./liliPerform product rework and repack operations to fulfill customer orders./liliSupport internal and external audits./liliFollow all established occupational health and safety procedures./liliFollow all established GMP’s and Food Safety requirements./liliCross-train with other departments./liliComply with federal, state and local dairy food regulations./liliAdhere to the Saputo code of ethics and actively apply the Saputo values./liliWork together professionally in a team environment with coworkers and other department personnel./liliOther duties as required by management./li/ulp/ppbJob requirements/b:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent./lili1-year demonstrated experience operating a lift truck./liliAbility to obtain Powered Industrial Truck certification and maintain certification./liliExperience in warehouse operations in a shipping/receiving role. Food manufacturing experience a plus./liliStrong math skills./liliGood computer software skills, SAP a plus./liliStrong verbal and written communication skills./liliDemonstrated work history./liliGood attendance is a must./li/ulp/ppbPhysical Demands:/b/pulliAbility to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, and humid), standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift./liliWorking with chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment and following approved chemical handling procedures./liliThe employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50-pounds independently throughout the shift and/or move up to 100 lbs. with assistance./liliShift flexibility. Our team is assigned to a department in support of company customer orders, re-supply and demand planning.  This can either be rotating shifts, days, swing or night shift.
