Teacher aides may tutor students, supervise students on the playground, in the cafeteria and discipline center, record grades, set up labs or equipment and prepare instructional materials.br br strongDuties/Responsibilities:/strong ulliPerforms any combination of the following duties in the classroom to assist teaching staff./li liTakes attendance, grades homework and tests using answer sheets and records results./li liDistributes teaching materials to students, such as textbooks, workbooks, or paper and pencils./li liMaintains order within school and on school grounds./li liPulls small groups of students to provide differentiated instructional support./li liTakes on substitute duties for last minute teacher absences./li liOperates learning aids, such as film and slide projectors and tape recorders./li liPrepares requisitions for library materials and stockroom supplies./li liTypes material and operates duplicating equipment to reproduce instructional materials./li liOther duties as assigned./li /ul br strongQualifications:/strongbr strongEducation, Experience, and/or Certification(s)/strong ullistrongEducation Requirements:/strong Hish School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
