Be a part of Swift Transportation./ppbJob Responsibilities: What you will do/bbr /br /Responsible for the care and maintenance of Knight Swift building systems./pulliManage assigned budgets./liliCoordinate and maintain relationships with assigned vendors./liliImplement HVAC best practices to maximize life of equipment./liliOpens and closes work orders in CMMS per SLA guidelines./liliMinimize down time through proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance./liliComply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety./liliMaintain, operate, inspect and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings./liliPerform a variety of general handyman services, including painting, drywall repair, carpet tile replacement, and other minor maintenance tasks./liliRespond to assigned repairs, conduct emergency maintenance, and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure facility safety and functionality./liliComplete maintenance and repair records as required./liliRespond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed./liliReview historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing and preventive maintenance schedule./liliOperates company vehicle in a safe manner and follows prescribed routines to service locations in a timely manner./liliAssist internal customers with conference room set ups, board meetings, new desk setups, reconfiguring spaces and move management, as well as any other office space needs./liliProactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives./li/ulpspan style="color: blue;"bCopy and paste URL into browser to view full description: /b/spanhttps://knxtrans.jdxpert.com/ShowJob.aspx?EntityID=2id=6806br /br /bQualifications: What you need to bring/b/pulli3 years' HVAC experience required./liliProven handyman experience with a broad range of general maintenance and repair tasks./liliExperience in commercial facilities environment preferred./liliHigh School diploma or equivalent required./liliHVAC certification or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required./liliMust be proficient in MS Office Suite, CMMS and CAFM./liliMust be a self starter./liliMust possess strong written and verbal communication skills./liliMust be able to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers./liliMust be able to carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more./li/ulpbr /bPay Range: /b$21.00 - $25.00 Hourly/ppbWhat we offer: /b/pulliCompetitive starting salary commensurate with experience and geographic location./liliPotential bonus pay based on company performance./liliOpportunities to volunteer and give back to local communities./liliComprehensive Benefits Package which includes:ulli401(K)/liliMedical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Supplemental and Life Insurance/liliPaid Time Off/liliEmployee Stock Purchase Plan/li/ul/li/ulpbr /The Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
