pPerform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as set forth in machine manuals and by company policy pertaining to automated equipment/p
h2strongAreas of Responsibility and Authority:/strong/h2
pstrongSupport and improve current automation and auxiliary equipment conditions./strong/p
ul
liSupport and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement as well as standard work procedures./li
liDesign, implement, test, and maintain (preventive maintenance) automated manufacturing equipment and systems./li
liAnalyze products to be manufactured, create mechanical design documents, and design the automated equipment to produce products in an efficient and cost-effective manner./li
liAct as the project technical lead and maintain technical project files./li
liData collection from plant automation./li
liPublish engineering reports documenting design details or qualification test results./li
liResearch, select, or apply sensors, communication technologies, or control devices for motion control, position sensing, pressure sensing, or electronic communication./li
liSupport production by troubleshooting and programming plant automation./li
liResponsible for programming and designing PLC controls for new equipment./li
liProject management on new automation projects./li
liCreate OPL and SOP for automative equipment/li
liTrain technicians/li
liOther duties as assigned./li

liPLCs -Understanding of AC and DC motors; Understanding of servo systems/li
liMotors and Drives - Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting and read electrical prints. Ability to wire industrial control systems including 480V/120V/24V power, drives, motors, I/O and sensors/li
liElectrical Skills - Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting and read electrical prints. Ability to wire industrial control systems including 480V/120V/24V power, drives, motors, I/O and sensors/li
liRobotics - Basic understanding of robot operations; Understanding of I/O and interfacing, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience/li
liMMIs - Understanding of basic concepts, familiar with PanelView Plus and PanelView hardware. Ability to use RSView Studio and PanelBuilder software/li
liVision Systems - Understanding of Cognex/DVT software. Ability to design, diagnose, and troubleshoot vision applications. Ability to use DVT FrameWork and visLOC software is a plus/li
liManufacturing environment./li
liAbility to lift up to 50 lbs./li
liWorks in both manufacturing and office environment/li
liMust be able to stand/walk 80% of the time./li
liExposed to moderate to high noise levels./li
liRobotics: 3 years (Required)/li
