Acquisition Intern will assist with work related to talent acquisition and
human resources. Work involves supporting agency operations with a primary
focus on gaining practical work experience and business skills for personal
development or to satisfy educational requirements. The incumbent will
proactively work with the Talent team, OE staff, Intern Cohort, and agency
employees./font/ppfont size="3" /font/ppfont size="3"strongemThis will be a part-time (19 hours), limited-term assignment that will need to report our Austin offices at least two days per week. We are wanting this position to start in October, 2025, with the possibility of continuing into the spring semester./em/strongbrstrongembrSalary will be dependent upon

$19.50/hourbrGraduate Student - $21.00/hour/em/strongbrbrbrstrongWHAT YOU WILL DO:brTalent Acquisition and Human Resourcesbr/strong•
Assists with the coordination of TRS summer intern activities.br•
Updates TRS recruitment sites including creating templates for future use and
maintenance.br•
Assists with new hire processing, orientation, and onboarding.br•
Assists with creating external job postings, reviewing applications, and
processing candidate assessments and evaluations.br•
Edits current system site(s) to ensure content is accurate, up to date, and
aligns with TRS careers brand.br•
Compiles and analyzes Talent Acquisition data and reports. Assists in creating
ROI reports on job fairs, job posting sites, and external partnerships.br•
Assists with Talent Acquisition review processes including I9 reviews,
interview documentation, and onboarding forms.br•
Works with Talent Acquisitions staff to create social media content in
association with recruitment and TRS branding initiatives.brstrongOnboarding/strongbr•
Assists with the recruitment, onboarding, and management of summer internship
program.br•
Works with Talent Acquisition team to design, develop and implement training
and presentation materials.br•
Designs and updates onboarding materials, handouts, and PowerPoint
presentations as needed.br•
Shadows Talent Acquisition Team Lead to facilitate onboarding program
coursework.brbr•

Currently enrolled in and actively attending an accredited college or
university as an undergraduate student with a declared major in Human
Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Technical Writing, or
related field AND within 12 months of graduation; ORbr•
Enrolled as a graduate student (Master or Doctoral) in a related program.br•
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.br•
Applicant will be required to submit a copy of official college transcripts.brstrongRequired Experiencebr/strong•
Experience designing and developing presentation or training materials.br•
Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.br•
Ability to communicate persuasively and credibly, verbally and written.br•
