Come and be part of the One Crew team providing a great customer experience that our customers know they can count on at Avelo!/ppbr//ppstrongRESPONSIBILITIES/strong/ppSAFETY:nbsp;nbsp;/pulliEnsure the safety, security, welfare, and comfort of all Customers and other Crewmembers/liliRespond safely and effectively to a broad range of in-flight emergencies/liliContribute to the smooth and efficient operations of all aircraft and flight schedules/liliComplete incident/safety reporting requirements and submit timely documentation/li/ulpINFLIGHT STANDARDS:nbsp;nbsp;/pulliCreate a caring Customer experience on every flight; from boarding to deplaning and serve as an ambassador of the Avelo brand/liliServe as the primary point of contact for Customer issues onboard while finding creative resolutions/liliBe knowledgeable of and adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations and comply with laws, regulations and procedures in all locations where operations are conducted/liliAttend all training and maintain qualifications as determined by Inflight Leadership/liliMaintain working knowledge of all relevant Company materials including the Inflight Service Manual, Flight Attendant Playbook, OneCrew Way Handbook, etc. Keep up to date with revisions and bulletins and ensure Flight Attendant tablet is updated and currenstrongt/strong/li/ulpCUSTOMER AND CREW LEADERSHIP:nbsp;nbsp;/pulliBuild customer loyalty and live our “One Crew” value by cooperating and working effectively with all operational Crewmembers and Avelo leadership/liliTreat each customer as a unique person with kindness and respect/liliContribute to Avelo’s on board service, sales, and revenue generating initiativesnbsp;/liliServe as a customer service, marketing and public relations ambassador/li/ulpRequirements/ppemPlease review the requirements thoroughly. We highly recommend that you live in or near your base. Our scheduled service consists of local day trips with no overnights, making commuting very difficult. You must be able to get to the airport within two hours. However, please remember you may be required to complete flight assignments (i.e. Charter Flights, Reserve Assignments) out of base for multiple days based on operational need./em/ppbr//pulliMust be at least 21 years of age.nbsp;/liliMust have reliable transportation and ability to report to your assigned location within 2 hours.nbsp;/liliAttend and successfully complete all Avelo Flight Attendant training requirements.nbsp;/liliMust be able to accept and relocate to a base assignment at Crewmember’s own expense after training.nbsp;/liliMust be able to work a rotating schedule with variable hours of up to 16-hour duty days, including nighttime or overnight hours, weekends, holidays, and multiple days away from home.nbsp;/liliMust present a neat professional appearance and demeanor including adhering to Avelo Inflight uniform and appearance guidelines.nbsp;/liliComply with all DOT, FAA, and Avelo Airlines’ regulations regarding drug and alcohol compliance of safety-sensitive transportation employees.nbsp;/liliWilling/able to serve all types of food and beverages (including alcoholic beverages)nbsp;/liliMaintain a working telephone number by which they can be contacted as required, file their address of residence with the company, and maintain its currency at all times.nbsp;/liliMust possess a valid United States passport (or foreign passport with applicable VISAs) prior to application with at least six months validity remaining prior to expiration. Must have the right to travel freely in and out of the United States, to and from all cities served by Avelo Airlines without restriction (including Canada).nbsp;nbsp;/liliMust be able to understand, speak, read and write English fluently.nbsp;/liliPerform all duties and responsibilities outlined in the Avelo Inflight Services Manual, Flight Attendant Playbook, Company safety manuals, and all duties as assigned by the flight Captain or Avelo leadership.nbsp;/liliMust be legally authorized to work in the United States.nbsp;/li/ulpbr//ppstrongPhysical Requirements:/strong/pulliVision must be at least 20/40 with glasses or contact lensesnbsp;/liliAbility to physically lift 50 pounds from ground to waistnbsp;/liliBe able to walk forward down the aircraft aisle without interfering with comfort of seated customersnbsp;/liliBe seated in jumpseat with all belts/restraints fastened, without use of seatbelt extensionnbsp;/liliMaintain balance while walking and standing during flightnbsp;/liliMust be able to stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, and crouch for long periods of timenbsp;/liliPush or pull aircraft doors/exits, or food/beverage carts with force of up to 100 lbs/liliAssist Customers needing assistance during an evacuationnbsp;nbsp;/li/ulpbr//ppstrongPay:/strong/pulliFirst year: $28 per hournbsp;/lili75-hour minimum monthly guaranteenbsp;/liliLead pay: $2.00 override when you fly in the lead positionnbsp;/liliPer Diem: $2.25 per hour when on duty at the airport or flyingnbsp;/liliPremium pay paid as applicablenbsp;/liliHoliday Pay for Company identified holidays as applicablenbsp;/li/ulpbr//ppMay perform other responsibilities as assigned.
