The operator ensures that quality products are packaged in a safe, efficient, and sanitary manner./pp/ppbEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/b/pulliReviews packaging work order and obtains correct product, packaging materials and equipment set-up/liliInspects and cleans work area prior to beginning operation and at shift end/liliInspects and adjusts equipment prior to beginning operation/liliCompletes production reports documenting performance; enter transactions into RF equipment/liliAdjusts equipment during operation to ensure that quality and productivity standards are met/liliDump product into hopper for filling/liliKnows how to operate at least bone packaging line. /b/liliPerforms change-over by setting up auger, funnel, tubing and former for specific lines and/or product/liliCleans and washes line and equipment/liliLoad and set film or units for form fill machines/liliMay manually pack units into cartons as required/liliMay manually affix label cartons/liliMay manually stack cartons on to pallets as required/liliMay operate a forklift as required/liliReports any product quality deviations or mechanical failures to the utility person or team captain/liliCleans work area and equipment at end of shift/liliComplete all training defined and made available for the current assigned role.  Responsible for attending all training made available assuring full understanding of the training and have the ability to perform trained activities./liliResponsible for the coordination and review of specific functional area BRC criteria.  Ensure BRC protocols are implemented and audited as required.
